ASW PC strand is used extensively in prestressed and post-tensioned concrete structures, including bridges, parking decks, and industrial and commercial buildings. ASW PC strand is manufactured from US produced steel wire rod using the same metallurgical expertise and proprietary processes that have made us a leader in the manufacture of high tensile spring wire.

Our PC strand is made from high carbon steel as 7-strand cable in both stress relieved and low relaxation grades. Tensile strength for both grades is rated at 270 ksi, minimum. Low relaxation strand is available in the following sizes:
